Our brand new bike meet will kick off on Wednesday 28th March and anyone arriving on 2 wheels will receive a FREE bacon or
sausage butty when purchasing their first drink (first night only).
Large car park, bar area, hot drinks, carvery plus hot sandwiches available.
We also have 6 en-suite bedrooms for those that want a ‘drink drink’ and want to make a night of it! Or if you prefer, we have a grass field area ideal for camping (tents) overnight.
Room or camping bookings are always welcome.
We are a country Inn just off Junction 30, M1 with great biking roads in our Derbyshire countryside. A fantastic bolt-hole to ride out to and meet up with friends and like minded people.

They continue their meteoric rise to prominence this year, with a busy and exciting schedule to look forward to. Diligence and
attention to detail in the rehearsal studios has really paid off, and The WonderWhys are able to deliver an eclectic choice of explosive covers with punch, poise and passion, in a fun-filled set that goes from strength to strength. Equally at home with all your favourite rock, funk, indie, pop and party tunes from the last 5 decades, The WonderWhys cast Midas rays of funk-tinged sunshine upon everything they touch, and strike a natural rapport with
Working with Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and Reverend & The Makers’ producer Alan Smyth in Sheffield in February bore fruit in the shape of live recordings which really captured the essence, energy and versatility of the WonderWhys’ live performance.
Upcoming highlights this year include the biggest beer festival in the UK – Springfest – at The Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) in
London, with around 5 thousand revellers. A support slot at The
Avenue in Chesterfield sees The WonderWhys warming up for 90’s Indie Darlings – Dodgy – in the UK’s largest Independent Venue. The Rock The Boat Cruise in the Summer has The WonderWhys sailing into the sunset – rubbing shoulders with the likes of Suzi Quatro, Slade and The Animals. Late Summer also had them
appearing on BBC Three Reality TV Series “Don’t Tell The Bride” as the wedding band of choice.

The current line up are led by the ever present ‘H’ on vocals and bass guitar.
H is the centrepoint of Dizzy Lizzy having formed the band in 1994. He lives in West Bromwich, just down the road from the hospital where Philip Lynott was born.
He started the band back in 1994 after a working in the legendary ‘Strap On Jack’ band, True Grit and also a brief stint with Jas Mann in ‘Babylon Zoo’.
